What counts as sharp money on this tracker
Every sportsbook reports two different splits on a game: the percentage of tickets on each side, and the percentage of dollars. Recreational bettors produce lots of tickets with small money behind them; professionals produce few tickets with serious money. When a side's money share runs 8 or more points ahead of its ticket share, fewer, larger, sharper wagers are driving it - that is the bar a side must clear to appear in the table above, and the bigger the gap, the heavier the pro footprint.

Sharp action is a signal, not a command. The professionals hitting a number early are betting a price, and by the time you see the divergence the price may have moved past the value. The disciplined workflow: see the divergence here, check whether the line has already adjusted on the splits boards, shop the best remaining number, and size it modestly with the Kelly calculator. Chasing sharp sides at a worse number than the sharps got is how the signal gets wasted.
