Novig Calculator: Novig Odds, No-Vig Fair Price and Fees

Novig calculator

Convert a Novig price between American odds, cents and implied probability, both ways, and enter both sides of a market to get the fair, no-vig price. Pre-game straight trades on Novig carry no fee, so the price you see is the price you pay; for live and futures the calculator shows the price before fees.

Math on the price you enter, not a pick. Fees from the same model our line-shopping and +EV tools use. 21+.

Both sides: the fair, no-vig price

Prices as
Both sides add to104.76%
Margin (hold)4.55%
Fair side A50% / +100
Fair side B50% / +100

Fair price = each side's implied probability divided by the total, so the pair adds to exactly 100%. On an exchange the two best offers usually add to a little over 100% (the spread); on a sportsbook the overage is the vig.

How Novig prices work

Novig is a peer-to-peer sports prediction market regulated by the CFTC. You do not bet into a bookmaker's line; you trade against other users at the price the market sets. A pre-game straight trade taken in the Novig app or on the web carries no fee under Novig's fee schedule, and our tools price it that way: the number you see is the number you pay. That is why Novig so often shows up near the top of our line-shopping boards.

Our boards list Novig prices in American odds, the same format as every sportsbook we track. A contract price works too: 60 cents and -150 are the same 60% price. Switch the input above between American odds, cents and percent and every format converts both ways.

Novig odds examples

Pre-game prices at Novig, where no fee applies, so the odds after fees equal the posted odds and the break-even rate equals the implied probability.

Example: -150 on Novig is a 60% price (1.667 decimal, 2/3 fractional). With no fee you need to win 60% of the time to break even.

Finding the no-vig price of a Novig market

Many people searching for a Novig calculator want the fair price of both sides. Enter both prices in the fair price panel: the calculator adds the two implied probabilities, shows how far they run over 100%, and scales each side back so the pair adds to exactly 100%. For a sportsbook line the overage is the vig; on Novig it is mostly the gap between the best offers on each side. For a full sportsbook devig use the no-vig calculator.

Novig fees on live and futures trades

Novig publishes a taker fee on live trades and futures (maker fills are free). Our tools do not net those fees into a price yet, so pick Live or Futures above and the calculator shows the price before fees and says the fee is not mapped, instead of guessing. Novig's published schedule is listed on our Novig promo code page.

Compare Novig with Kalshi and the books

The same calculator handles Kalshi, Polymarket US and ProphetX fees, so you can line up one price across venues. The prediction market odds converter walks through the cents to American odds math, and line shopping shows Novig's price next to every book we track.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Novig calculator?

It converts a Novig price between American odds, cents and implied probability, shows the fair no-vig price when you enter both sides of a market, and nets out any fee our tools have mapped for that market type.

Does Novig charge fees on pre-game bets?

Novig's fee schedule says pre-game straight trades taken in the app or on the web carry no fee, and that is how our tools price Novig. A pre-game price on Novig is the price you pay.

What about Novig live and futures fees?

Novig publishes a taker fee on live trades and futures. Our tools do not net those fees into a price yet, so for live and futures this calculator shows the price before fees and says so instead of guessing. Our Novig promo code page lists Novig's fee schedule as published.

How do I find the no-vig price of a Novig market?

Enter both sides in the fair price panel. The calculator adds the two implied probabilities, shows how far over 100% they run, and scales each side back so the pair adds to exactly 100%. That scaled number is the fair price of each side.

Is Novig a sportsbook?

No. Novig is a peer-to-peer sports prediction market regulated by the CFTC: you trade against other users at the market price instead of taking a bookmaker's line.

Is this calculator a Wise Guy Team pick?

No. It is math on a price you enter. Our documented plays are posted separately, and every one is tracked win or loss.
