Anytime TD rows are a price comparison only: the sportsbooks post the Yes side alone, so there is no no-vig fair price or edge estimate on them. The best price shown is the highest payout across the books we track.
📘 New to player props? A
player prop is a bet on one player's stat line (like points, rebounds or assists), over or under a number the book sets.
+EV (edge) means the best price across the books we track pays more than the market-implied fair odds (vig removed); consistently taking better prices raises your expected return over time. We only list props with a
3+ US-book consensus (so one stale line can't fake an edge) and always show the
best price, because on props the same line can pay far more at one book than another. Learn free:

Today's College Football Prop Board: 39 Numbers, Zero Qualifiers
Thirty-nine player props are posted across seven college football games today, and not one of them clears our value bar. That is not a dead day. That is the job. Most of the board is Anytime Touchdown and Rushing Yards, two of the most heavily shaded markets in the sport, and when the prices come back fair we say so instead of inventing a play. A quiet board teaches more than a loud one, because it forces you to learn the filter rather than chase a name you like. Below is exactly how we run that filter.

How Player Props Work
A player prop is a bet on one player's stat line, not on who wins the game. A rushing yards prop gives you a number, say 62.5, and you pick over or under. An Anytime Touchdown prop is a yes or no on whether that player scores at least once. The price attached is where the real work lives.
If both sides of a rush yards prop are listed at -110, each side implies about a 52.4 percent chance of cashing. Add them and you get 104.8 percent, which is impossible. That extra 4.8 percent is the vig, the bookmaker's built-in commission. That is a positive expected value bet, or +EV: the best available price beats the fair price.
Why the Best Number Wins
Sides and totals are tightly policed across books. Props are not. The same rushing yards number can sit at 58.5 at one shop and 62.5 at another, and the same Anytime Touchdown can be +140 in one place and +165 somewhere else. That is not a rounding error.
Over a season of prop bets, taking +165 instead of +140 on identical bets is the difference between a losing record and a profitable one, because your winners pay more while your losers cost exactly the same. The bettor with four or five accounts and the patience to compare them is playing a materially different game than the bettor who takes whatever one app shows. On props, line shopping is not an optimization. It is the edge.
How We Find +EV
Our method is mechanical. We pull every posted price on a prop from at least three United States books, remove the vig from each to get an honest probability, and blend them into a no-vig consensus that represents the market's fair read. Then we compare that fair number to the single best price available anywhere. If the gap clears our value bar, it earns a spot on the ranked board. If it does not, it gets logged and ignored. Today all 39 props fell on the ignore side. Discipline on days like this is what protects the bankroll for the days when three or four numbers break loose at once.
Reading the Board Above
Use the free board as your shopping map. It shows you the markets in play, the lines each book is hanging, and where the best price currently sits, so you can see the spread between shops before you ever place a wager. What it does not show is the ranked edge on each prop, which lives in the members +EV tool alongside our documented plays. That is the method on a zero-qualifier board; the Desk posts a documented free play on days like this, and it sits right below.
College Football Player Props Today FAQ
What are the best College Football player props today?
There are 39 College Football player props on today's board, with the best price on each shown above. 0 of them clear our +EV value bar; the ranked edge on each (how much the price beats the market-implied fair odds) is inside the members +EV tool.
How do you find +EV College Football props?
We compare the best price across regulated US sportsbooks to the no-vig fair price from a 3-or-more-book consensus. When the best available price pays more than that fair line, the prop is +EV. We rank by that edge and always point you to the book with the best number.
Are these College Football prop picks free?
Yes. This is a free Wise Guy Desk board, our analysis, not Ross's official plays. Ross's documented plays are bet with real money and graded win or loss on the members board.
