๐ New to player props? A
player prop is a bet on one player's stat line (like points, rebounds or assists), over or under a number the book sets.
+EV (edge) means the best price across books pays more than the true odds imply, the only proven way to profit long term. We only list props with a
3+ US-book consensus (so one stale line can't fake an edge) and always show the
best price, because on props the same line can pay far more at one book than another. Learn free:

Today's WNBA Prop Board at a Glance
The Wise Guy Desk graded 30 WNBA player props across six games today, covering three markets: Points, Rebounds, and Assists. After comparing the best available price on each prop against our no-vig consensus of true odds, exactly one prop cleared our +EV bar. That is a normal day. Most props on any board are priced efficiently enough that betting them is a coin flip with a fee attached. The job is not to bet a lot. The job is to find the small number of props where the price is wrong, and today the board produced one. The ranked play itself lives in our members +EV tool, but everything below teaches you how we got there.
How Player Props Work
A player prop is an over/under bet on a single player's statistic in one game. A sportsbook posts a number, say 14.5 points, and you bet whether the player finishes over or under it. Both sides usually carry a price like -110, meaning you risk 110 to win 100. That extra bit is the vig, the sportsbook's built-in fee. A bet is +EV, meaning positive expected value, when the price you get pays more than the true odds of the outcome. If a player truly goes over 14.5 points 55 percent of the time and a book prices the over as if it happens only 50 percent of the time, the gap between the real probability and the price is your edge. You will still lose plenty of individual bets. Expected value is about what the bet is worth on average over hundreds of repetitions, not what happens tonight.
Why the Best Number Wins
Props are the softest corner of the WNBA market because each book sets its own numbers with less liquidity policing them. The same rebounds prop can be 7.5 at one book and 8.5 at another, and the odds attached can differ by 20 cents or more. That spread is enormous. A bettor who always takes the best available line and price across books can turn a losing strategy into a winning one, because half a rebound or a few cents of odds is often the entire margin between negative and positive expected value. Line shopping is not a nice extra on props. It is the single biggest lever a recreational bettor controls.
How We Find +EV
Our process is mechanical. For every prop on the board, we pull prices from multiple US sportsbooks and build a consensus from at least three of them. We strip the vig out of that consensus to estimate the true probability of each outcome. Then we compare the single best available price anywhere against that no-vig true line. If the best price pays meaningfully more than the true odds, the prop has positive expected value. We only flag props that clear a minimum value bar, because small edges get eaten by variance and pricing noise. Today, one of the 30 props cleared it. We do not publish which one here, but the ranking, the edge size, and the book carrying the best price sit in the members +EV tool.
Reading the Board Above
Use the free board as your shopping map. For each prop you like, check the posted lines and find the best number and best price before you bet anything, because the difference between books is where most of your long-run profit lives. Treat every prop without a demonstrated edge as a pass. If you want the ranked edge on each prop, including today's qualifier, that lives in the members +EV tool. Either way, bet the price, not the player.
WNBA Player Props Today FAQ
What are the best WNBA player props today?
There are 30 WNBA player props on today's board, with the best price on each shown above. 1 of them clear our +EV value bar; the ranked edge on each (how much the price beats the true odds) is inside the members +EV tool.
How do you find +EV WNBA props?
We compare the best price across regulated US sportsbooks to the no-vig fair price from a 3-or-more-book consensus. When the best available price pays more than that fair line, the prop is +EV. We rank by that edge and always point you to the book with the best number.
Are these WNBA prop picks free?
Yes. This is a free Wise Guy Desk board, our analysis, not Ross's official plays. Ross's documented plays are bet with real money and graded win or loss on the members board.
