What the marks mean
BestGreen price = Best. The highest payout on this exact line across the books we track. If two books tie, both show green. Bet here unless your own book is close and more convenient.
FAIRGold FAIR number. What the bet is really worth once the bookmaker's built-in fee is stripped out. Any price better than FAIR is a good deal for you; the further above FAIR, the bigger your edge.
12mGold minutes tag. That book has not updated this price in a while (25 minutes or more before the game, 3 minutes during it), so the number may be stale. Check the book's app before you bet. The tag disappears when the book refreshes.
Only price reportedOnly price reported. Just one book has posted this line, so there is nothing to compare it to. It is never marked Best for that reason.
EXCHEXCH. Novig and ProphetX are exchanges, not sportsbooks. The price is another bettor's open offer, so it can vanish when someone takes it and may only be available for a small amount. ProphetX keeps 2% of what you win.
★ Your book. A book you saved in your betting profile. Set your books once and the tool highlights them everywhere.
MGMBook logo or initials. Just the book's name. A colored square with initials appears when we do not have that book's logo. It says nothing about the price.
Edge. How much better the Best price is than FAIR, as a percentage of your stake. 🔥 Strong is 4% or more, Solid is 2 to 4%, Slim is 1 to 2%. Edges above 10% get a "verify" flag: a number that good is usually a line about to move, so confirm it at the book first.
Books covered. The regulated US sportsbooks and the two exchanges our odds feed delivers. A book shows on a row only when it has posted a price on that exact line; what you can bet depends on your state.

The same bet can pay noticeably more at one book than another. Consistently getting the best price raises your long-run return without changing which sides you bet.
What is a fair price in sports betting?
