One honest way to judge the prices you take: closing line value.

The closing line is the last price before the game starts. Closing line value asks one question: did your price beat it?

Say you bet -105, and it closed at -120. Your price implied about 51%. The close implied about 54.5%. The difference is +3.33 points. Positive means you beat the close. The CLV calculator also shows it as a relative percent: that gap divided by your implied chance.

Why does it matter? One ticket can go either way. But beating the close over many bets is a common sign you're getting good numbers.

Log a bet in the Bet Tracker and it shows your CLV once the game kicks off. The Closing Line Value calculator works it out for you. And the +EV Board Results grade the board's own edges by closing line value too.

Next: how to use the Bet Tracker.
